Commissioner of Police Delta State, Mohammed Ali has blamed activities of syndicate groups like cultists, for the incessant killings of police officers in parts of Delta State.
The COP made a statement after the recent killing of a Police Officer in Warri on Thursday. Mentioning that the Police Command is worried over the incessant killings of Police Officers carrying out their lawful duties.

He however reaffirms his commitment and that of the Police Command in ensuring the safety of its officers in their post of duty. While warning cultist and other syndicate groups to desist from actions such as this or face the wrath of the law.
While he urged members of the community and citizens of the state to partner with the Police in rooting out this crime. He also went ahead to encourage them to diverge any form of information that could be instrumental to the arrest of these hoodlums or cultists.
While reiterating the effort of the Police Force to stamp down perpetrators of this crime, the COP spoke on steps urgently being taken by the Police.
In his words: “Just recently we initiated a ‘Permanent Pin Down Checkpoints’ in some strategic locations especially within the Warri area and its environs where this crime appears to be on the increase in recent time and we have deployed more men for this purpose.”
