A one time president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo meets Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi state over his efforts and progress in ensuring security in Kogi State, as well as infrastructural development and good governance.
As reported by Daily Post, the Chief Press Secretary of Kogi State governor; Mohammed Onogwu made the meeting public in a statement on Sunday evening, NAN also reports that Obasanjo meets Yahaya Bello.
The Chief Press Secretary has it that the meeting between the state governor and Obasanjo went well as he commended the governor in his strides in fighting insecurity.

While also appreciating him for his efforts in ensuring growth and development in the state, especially in the infrastructural sector, health, education and most importantly in incorporating the youths and women into the politics of his government.
Obasanjo during his visit stated that Kogi State is very central to the development of Nigeria and the current fight against insecurity is one that requires corporation from everyone. All hand should be on deck in fighting to make sure that Nigeria is safe for her citizens once more.
