Champions League: Salah & Mane pulls the Reds Up

Liverpool on Tuesday night finally ends their nightmare run of games in the English League game with a win in the Champions League.

The Reds increased their chances of making it to the last eight of the Champions League after they cruised to a win against Leipzig. Playing the away 1st leg fixture in Bupapest’s Pukas Arena due to Coronavirus restrictions.

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were both at their best and showed why there were regarded as one of the most lethal forward combos in Europe. They both defined the game with a goal each in the 52nd and 57th minutes of the Champions League Match respectively. The 3rd partner and Striker of the Reds strike force Firmino also scored in the 36th minute of the game but the goal was disallowed. The game ended with a 2 goal win for Liverpool with a Clean sheet, turning out to be a good night for the Reds faithful.
