Dave Umahi shorthanded, as another 3 defects to PDP

The governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi is once again left shorthanded as 3 more members of his aides resigns and defect to PDP, adding to the increasing number of defectors.

Three more aids of the Ebonyi State governor has resigned in recent time and defected afterwards to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The aides prior to their resignation as well as defection, wee technical assistants in their various capacity to the governor. The list of the above-mentioned aides and their previously held posts includes:

• Nwigbo Ransomed (Technical Assistant to the governor on Environment)
• Amaechi Nwovu (Technical Assistant to the governor on Water Resources)
• Onweagu Chika (Technical Assistant to the governor on Water Resources)

While their Letters of Resignation wee dated March 16th, March 10th and February 22 of this year respectively, it, however, gave no reason as to why they resign but thanked the State governor for giving them the honour to serve.

This isn’t the first set of appointees governor Dave Umahi has lost since his own defection from PDP to APC, while a good number of these ex-appointees are said to have instead decided on paying their allegiance to PDP.
