Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) has threatened to retaliate against Miyetti Allah’s actions of blocking vehicles conveying consumables to the southern part of Nigeria at the Jebba border if these actions are not stopped or looked into by the government. This warning was made by OPC to Miyetti Allah during a press chat with newsmen.
The Kwara State Chapter of Oodua People’s Congress through its new State coordinator Bayo Ifabiyi gave the warning to Miyetti Allah in Kwara State during a press chat with the press.
According to him:
‘His men might resort to stopping vehicles conveying plank, fuel, red palm oil, kola nuts and other items from Kwara State or other parts of the SouthWest to the Northern parts of Nigeria.’
“While Southerners could substitute by eating what they plant and continue with their life, Northerners might have to contend with Petrol scarcity among other items that can neither be produced nor sought in their areas.”

In his observations, he has it that the activities of the Miyetti Allah have been gaining indirect approval of the Federal government is a way of further dividing the country and making the government complicit in the whole matter.
In the light of the above, he urged the federal government to set the peoples welfare as a priority and address or speak out on the matter before its too late. He also went ahead to call on other Northern Elites to analysis the situation and actions of the Miyetti Allah and take proper actions as well.
