Pundit Urges Lingard to end the romance with Manchester United

Manchester United Legend and pundit Rio Ferdinand have urged Jesse Lingard to make a permanent move out of the Red Devils this summer rather than come back from loan to play second fiddle.

Lingard was able to secure a loan move during the January transfer window to West Ham, haven not actively been a part of the Manchester United club for years.

The loan was set to last for the second half of 2020/2021 EPL Season, Pundit Ferdinand advised that he make his West Ham move permanent or move on to greener pastures instead.

This comes upon the performances of the United midfielder Lingard since joining West Ham on loan. He has since impressed from the very beginning, registering a brace in his debut match. He went on to score another goal in Sunday 2-1 win against Tottenham, with his side now into a top-four place of the Premier League table.

The 28-year-old player is clearing happy and having one of the best time of his career, he smiles in a way that he hasn’t in the Reds Devil dressing room.

Rio Ferdinand believes Lingard to be a top player, but says he needs play time, hard work and consistency in the field to get his career back on track. Unfortunately these are things United cannot offer the 28 year old at the moment…the more reason he should make a move, urged Ferdinand
